We took on this comprehensive renovation of a 9,000 square foot detached family home located in Weybridge, Surrey. Built in the 1930s and later refurbished inadequately, the home needed to be brought up to the living standards befitting its stature. We embarked on this project in 2018, after our clients, a family of five, fell in love with the property’s New England/Scandinavian exterior but wanted significant interior and garden enhancements.

Collaborating with AJK Architecture + Design, we focused on preserving the exterior charm while expanding the interior space. Our approach included a strategically discreet extension that respected the original architecture. Inside, we implemented a Scandinavian design ethos, emphasizing natural materials and a neutral palette to create a minimalist yet warm environment. Highlights of our design include Dinesen flooring, bespoke joinery by Andrew Morton Furniture, and high-end fixtures from brands like Lusso Stone and Arte Form.

Despite the global pandemic posing unprecedented challenges, including supply chain delays and necessary health precautions, we successfully navigated these hurdles. The renovation, planned for nine months, extended to eleven. This project not only tested our resilience but also underscored our commitment to creating luxurious, practical spaces tailored to family living.
