In 2002, Melissa Urdang Bodie and Kathryn Miller met at KLC School of Design in London, in a studio overlooking the River Thames. From their first day as interior design students, Melissa and Kathryn formed a close friendship rooted in a shared appreciation for layered, livable interiors and timeless design. After building separate careers at some of the industry’s leading design studios, including Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, Nina Campbell, and Kelly Hoppen, the two came together to establish Melissa & Miller in London in 2011.

Today, with offices in Philadelphia, London, and Dubai, Melissa & Miller is an internationally recognized full-service interior design studio specializing in layered residential, hospitality, and bespoke interiors. The studio is known for its thoughtful approach to interior architecture, craftsmanship, and timeless design, earning international recognition and several prestigious accolades within the design industry for creating spaces that feel both refined and deeply livable.
