SERVICES

MELISSA + MILLER provides full-service interior design - from concept to completion, and every phase in between - to help bring your singular vision to life. Our comprehensive knowledge of interior architecture, textiles, antiques, and small-batch makers allows us the ability to offer unparalleled attention to detail.

Our broad expertise and experience encompass everything from 18th Century English to Mid-Century modern styles, and projects run the gamut from urban abodes to country houses, high-end restaurants, and even luxury yachts.

In addition to our full design services, as an early response to the pandemic, MELISSA + MILLER INTERIORS pivoted and began offering a new, e-design service. This worked so well that we are continuing to offer an e-design service for those clients wanting to work with us remotely.

PROCESS

Preferring to put pen to paper — and then mouse to CAD — MELISSA + MILLER INTERIORS integrates traditional approaches to design with modern technologies. Every client receives a mood board, sketched floor plan, sketched furniture layouts, and elevations as standard deliverables. Careful attention is paid to interior architecture, the build-out process, and the study of the context of the site.

We consider the details as being integral to the overall design. From custom wallpaper to small-batch floor tiles to hand-thrown coffee mugs, we source all the elements from a carefully curated network of artists and makers who are essential partners in creating bespoke, nuanced interiors. While we appreciate all things beautiful and skillfully made, our aim is to be inclusive and work with small-batch artists and makers from across the globe.

Rather than enforcing a generic "house style," MELISSA + MILLER sees each client as an opportunity to start the designs from scratch. By reviewing each client’s lifestyle, budget, and design sensibility, they create a truly bespoke and individualized design. Meeting the needs and expectations of a client is of utmost importance, as is ultimately creating a finished product that can be lived in — and lived in well.
